In a recent collaboration, ZTE, Qualcomm and Thai operator AIS have conducted the world’s first NR DC trial using the 2.6GHz and 26GHz bands. We spoke to ZTE’s Vice President Bai Yang and Qualcomm’s VP Engineering & Regional head of SEA Ehsanul Islam to discuss the significance of the trial, including how it will help AIS differentiate its 5G offering in Thailand.
