Airtel Nigeria has selected Aviat Networks as its countrywide managed service partner (MSP) for enterprise access.

Aviat will deliver CTR microwave routers and point-to-point and point-to-multipoint radios and applications such as network monitoring and proactive and corrective maintenance.

"Enterprise connections are seen by mobile operators as strategic as operators must go beyond traditional services and into higher value services to enable ARPU growth," commented Michael Pangia, president and CEO, Aviat Networks. "Our broad portfolio for enterprise connectivity including products and services can help enable operators to provide these strategic services."

Aviat Networks expects orders under this contract to begin this quarter.
