Leading Chinese vendor Huawei launched an array of new products at the recent Communicasia exhibition in Singapore including its latest HSPA USB stick, 3G phones and an HSDPA gateway.

The move demonstrates Huawei's continuing commitment to supporting operators to boost their 3G business. The HSPA USB stick E180 with an ultra-slim shape measures only 10mm thickness. The interface can be rotated by 270 degrees for protection purposes and ease of transportation. E180 supports multiple modes, including HSPA, UMTS, EDGE, GPRS and GSM. Its uplink rate reaches 5.76 Mbit/s while it allows a downlink rate of up to 7.2 Mbit/s.

The E180, targeted at mobile internet users across all ages, will be available globally in the second half of June 2008. Huawei's mobile broadband terminals are used by more than 235 operators in over 115 countries and regions with accumulated shipments of over 12 million, ranking Huawei the No. 1 in the industry.

Huawei also launched three chic 3G mobile phones, the U7310, U1310 and U3300. Enabling easy internet surfing with HSDPA 3.6Mps, U7310 is a modem phone with Plug & Play function. Less than 14mm thick and with a 3.6 Mbit/s downlink rate, U7310 allows its users to enjoy high speed mobile internet-browsing experience. U1310 is nominated for the 2008 Red Dot Award for its elegant and compact design. Using the U3300, music enthusiasts can enjoy and share music through an FM transmitter with this entry level slider phone.

Huawei also launched the B932 HSDPA gateway. At only 27mm thick the gateway enables families to enjoy high speed internet surfing, as the B932 fully supports 900/2100Mhz spectrum in the 3G (HSDPA and UMTS) modes, and full spectrum in the 2G-2.5G mode (EDGE, GPRS and GSM). In total, Huawei has shipped over 30 million terminal products up to May 2008.
