Viva Bolivia has launched Viva Ilimitado, a time-based mobile data solution powered by Comptel’s FWD solution.

FWD is a cloud-based solution that enables contextual, time-based data sales directly from end user devices. By transforming data packages into bite-sized chunks, FWD simplifies and personalises buying and using mobile data. Offering FWD as a white-labelled solution enables operators to leverage their trusted brands in new ways, with existing and new users.

“With Ilimitado, we’re providing mobile connectivity to our Bolivian customers in a way that complements their lifestyle, with an immediate and simple way to access to internet,” said Juan Pablo Calvo, Chief Executive Officer of VIVA. “Most internet users don’t know how much mobile data they use. By converting mobile data sales into the understandable unit of time, we’re making it easy for users to select customised data plans that are suited to their needs.”

Viva can also leverage FWD’s marketing console to create, sell, market and target mobile data offers in real-time, allowing Viva to offer “happy hours” during low traffic times. With FWD’s insightful and actionable analytics, operators can monitor performance and better tailor their offering to match customer needs.
