A leading Afghan operator is improving its quality of service by implementing a new tool for multi-vendor network performance management. Etisalat Afghanistan is adopting Aircom’s Optima solution to monitor its network in order to identify potential issues across a wide range of multi-vendor interfaces.
The new solution will enable the operator to ensure that its network is performing as planned, allowing it to take proactive measures to address any concerns. Optima has powerful reporting, analysis and alarm functionality enabling the system to detect problems before they affect network performance.
“Etisalat Afghanistan remains completely committed to delivering the best possible quality of service to our customers,” said Amir Ishaque, CTO, Etisalat Afghanistan. “Strong network performance is critical for us as we continue to grow our user base, delivering mobile services to thousands of people. Having a robust network performance reporting system such as Optima in place is vital in ensuring we achieve this aim.”
“The Optima tool will enable Etisalat Afghanistan to enhance visibility of its network performance and centralise its control,” said Darryl Edwards, CEO Aircom International. “These are key drivers for our I-View framework. Not only will they deliver significant efficiency savings and network performance improvements to Etisalat Afghanistan, they will also enable the operator to grow its user base, increase its revenues and drive profitability.”
